Tue 2/1 - PM 40 minutes

5.5 miles on the treadmill, with a break at the 20 minute mark. Thoroughly discouraging run, as it became clear once the speed got up over 8.5 mph that the left hammie is a total mess. Spent the break doing compressions on the stool, and upon finishing went back to the stool and lacrosse ball for more. It simply won't get unstuck. Having been so obsessed of late with the glute and SI joint, it became clear that the root of the problem, what's dragging everything else down along with it, is the hamstring. Feels like it's gotten worse not better since last Wednesday's ill-advised workout, even though running has been sporadic at best since then. Driven to use the treadmill by atrocious road conditions with more snow on the way, of course.
