Fri 3/28 - PM 65 minutes easy
Area 51 to Old Marlboro Rd., like yesterday with strides on the way in. Feeling surprisingly sluggish through most of the run, although right leg somewhat better and less tight than yesterday. Dismal weather earlier in the day with rain in the mid-30s, thankfully the rain let up but still quite dreary and raw by the time I got out there.
Thu 3/27 - PM 85 minutes easy
Track Road to Area 51 via Sudbury Road. Moving better than yesterday, although I got a bit ahead of myself early on and had to slow it down at the 40 minute mark. Did five strides on the way in that weren't that quick but helpful in loosening up the legs a bit more. Trails are almost clear, despite the colder than normal temps of late.

Wed 3/26 - PM 55 minutes very easy
Coolidge Corner to the river and back via Beacon. Stiff as expected, right quad/adductor area feels like I may have strained it last night. Barely kept pace with a baby-jogger for a good chunk of the river stretch. Warmer today but with a stiff westerly wind.

Tue 3/25 - PM 80 minutes RLTAC incl. 6x1600
Long workout with relatively short rest, 2.5 minutes between reps. Energy levels had returned after taking it easy the past few days, so other than some lingering soreness I figured it was all systems go. Looking to hit the 5:02-5:04 range which is what happened:

pace was a bit slow on the fourth one, 2:34 at halfway, and it felt like a jog relative to the 2:31-2 that all the others went out in. Under control and other than some tightness that developed in the calf with the first rep, the workout went well. Completely wiped out for the cooldown, shuffled along for 15 minutes.

Mon 3/24 - PM 45 minutes easy
Area 51, legs have come around from Friday. The rest of me not doing quite so hot, did a few strides on the way in that were decidedly lackluster. Had to cut the run somewhat short in order to get errands done, not a big deal as today was as good a day as any to cut back this week.

Sun 3/23 - double, 1:50 total
AM - just over an hour, mostly very easy. Rail bed to Mt. Hope and back via the rail bed. Continued straight recovery, just puttering along. Brisk wind continues.
PM - just over 45 minutes, Mossman to Longfellow loop. Felt somewhat better than the morning but not that much better, pace remained relatively easy as a result. Kept it quite relaxed. Wind slacking just a bit, finally.
