Fri 1/22 - PM 70 minutes incl. 4x200
50 minute "warmup" to Jamaica Pond from RLTAC, then drills and 4x200 with 100 jogs. Went better than last week's mainly because I was going slower on the track this time. No issues on the left side, right iliopsoas did start to feel tight.

Thu 1/21 - 30 minutes
around the Fens. Not able to stretch afterwards due to HS meet, but still 30 minutes more than I was planning on getting in today. Relatively easy putter.

Wed 1/20 - PM 65 minutes
from RLTAC, SW corridor to the Common, over to the river and back via St. Paul/Longwood. Took about five minutes for the last two days' efforts to sink in and the pace stagnated for a while after that. Picked up again near the end. Moving well but not truly runnig hard. Right hip feeling tight and stiff around 45 minute mark but was manageable. Still on advil but not quite as much, eager to find out how the LG reacts when the ibuprofen clears the system finally.
Tue 1/19 - 55 minutes
Levittown. Run made possible by the screw shoes, without them I would have been sunk as the footing was atrocious. On and off snow showers all day on top of yesterday's packed snow made for 90% coverage on the side streets. The pace steadily wound up over the course of the run until the last 10 minutes or so where I felt like I was hammering. Right hip coincidentally started to get tight at about this time, but considering the footing it wasn't that bad. Difficult to say what the true status of the right hip/LG attachment as I'm still doped up on advil thanks to the aftermath of the abscess.

Mon 1/18 - 50 minutes, treadmill
6.5 miles, 6.5 to 9 mph. Working hard near the end but relaxed up until the last 12 minutes or so. Some tightness developed in right iliacus as the speed picked up. Miserable weather outside, white lead draped over everything and of course, not removed from Maynard side streets.

1/16, 1/17 - off
The abscess weekend. Noticed some swelling Friday but it didn't really get going until Saturday afternoon. Started on antibiotics just as I was starting to feel the fever coming on, nipped that in the bud but it kept swelling through early Sunday morning, to elephant man proportions. Not a fun weekend at all, unable to muster the motivation to do any stretching as I was so strung out from getting no sleep Friday night, going to a HS meet all day Saturday, and not sleeping well Saturday night either. Spent most of Sunday in an unconscious state. Taking a whole lot of advil for the tooth which of course affects how the sore spots in my legs feel as well.
