Fri 4/8 - PM 80 minutes
Lincoln Woods. Energy levels back up, thankfully. Pace picked up gradually until 45 minutes or so and held steady from there. Left haunch held up as well as any run recently, my feeling is that the stretch I learned yesterday for the TFL is helping already. Cool and breezy, not as nice a day as yesterday was.

Thu 4/7 - PM 70 minutes very easy
Area 51. I had intentions/delusions of actually trying some faster running on a track, as the left hip is generally getting better with only the hammie pinch point still bothersome. When I finally did get around to heading out the door, I felt so flat and tired I knew within ten minutes that wouldn't be happening. Slow putter from there on, hoping to feel better tomorrow for it. Final visit with the PT (on this referral) and he did show me a stretch for the TFL that I'm hopeful will be helpful, the tightness there has become chronic and it's dragging down other things nearby.

Wed 4/6 - PM 80 minutes
Lincoln Woods. Not quite as slow to start as last week's run of this duration. Finished quick again, again maybe not quite as much though. The hip/butt part of the ongoing left leg issues felt somewhat better today, I chalk it up to the rolling the lax ball on the sacral trigger point. Hamstring has felt better though, noticed it gummed up after the run in particular while stretching. Very windy for much of the afternoon, trees provided cover most of the run though. Fairly long break at the halfway mark visiting the Devil's Staircase.
Tue 4/5 - PM 45 minutes
Area 51. Back in the saddle, more or less. Energy levels returning. Leg felt decent enough although the pinch point was twinging near the end when the pace picked up. Miserable weather yet again, raw and chilly.

Mon 4/4 - off
As predicted. Feeling much better than yesterday but still recovering. Able to do the stretching/strengthening routine at least.

Sun 4/3 - off
came down with strep Saturday evening. In hindsight the bug has probably been around for a few days with the sore throat. Post-nap yesterday a multitude of other symptoms came on the scene and progressed with alarming speed. Unable to sleep and wound up in the ER at 3 AM. Given enough advil and tylenol to kill an elephant which took most of the edge off the muscle aches and headache. Today and tomorrow off.
Sat 4/2 - AM 70 minutes easy
Lincoln woods. Left hip/lower back felt less than stellar most of the way. Just enough heavy wet snow on the trail to make for slippery footing which wasn't helping one bit. Hard to say how different the leg would have felt without the snow to deal with. It was mostly gone by late afternoon of course, too late for the run though.
