Sat 1/16 - PM 60 minutes easy

Area 51. Not as lethargic as yesterday but still not feeling exactly spry either. Took a long while getting out of bed in the morning as well. With most of the snow from earlier in the week gone from the trails it was a no-brainer to take some advantage of them before the next storm whenever that is.

Fri 1/15 - PM 45 minutes very easy

Rockland Ave to Levittown. The late night Wednesday appears to have caught up with me, a day late but the same result. I had hopes of doing sime pickups on the way in but it wasn't happening. Just flat from the get go.

Thu 1/14 - 80 minutes

South Acton to Lower Village, with a stop at the supermarket at just about the hour mark. Moving fairly well from about the 40 minute mark until the shopping stop. The final bit was not nearly so lively as I was carrying almost 10 pounds of groceries on my back for the trip up and over Summer Hill. Overall felt pretty good for the day after a workout. Cold and windy conditions.

Wed 1/13 - PM 55 minutes incl. 5x220y, 5x220, 3x200, 2x220

Somewhat successful attempt at a speed endurance session, despite coming in one short of the 16 reps I was originally aiming for. Given how lackluster recent training has been I'll take it. Idea was to hold the line on pace, both for the rep and the float recovery, and take a longer jog break when that was no longer the case. I thought I could get through 6-8 reps before the first longer break and I was of course totally wrong. Recovery float was on the quick side for the first set and most of the second. Splits:
