Fri 4/13 - PM 65 minutes incl. 1600, 9x400

Deviated from an originally planned threshold workout. Pushing that back to Sunday, in theory. Relying on an old standby here with the 3 slower 400s bracketed by 6 faster ones, with the wrinkle that the recovery between the 400s was a 300m jog all the way through, no longer break after each 3rd rep. Splits:

71.9, 72.9, 72.1
76.2, 77.0, 76.8
71.7, 72.5, 72.2

Decided while warming up that a 72/77 split was what to shoot for. Consistent breeze from the west influenced this decision. Became challenging near the end but able to hit the marks throughout. The second set was well under control. Still some stiffness in right instep but it appears to be manageable at this point. Left adductor sore on the cooldown.
