Fri 1/29 - PM 35 minutes easy

Edge of Area 51. Some icy patches on the trail but the recent spell of warmer weather is making a good dent on the small amount of snow on the ground. Some icy patches but even in the dark I was able to negotiate them without any drama. Once back on pavement and heading home I threw in some short pickups even though I had been feeling flat and sluggish all afternoon. The short length made them doable, I needed the turnover desperately. Took forever to get out the door, obscenely late start after spending far too long, again, lying around in bed after getting home from work. A symptom of not getting nearly enough sleep at night but what else is new.
