Soldiered on with the track session despite feeling fried and right leg still a bit tweaked from the weekend. Made it through but knew going in the numbers wouldn't be impressive, in fact I was fully prepared to pull the plug if necessary. While that wasn't necessary I could feel myself getting tired by the last set (last 4 really) and the numbers reflect this. I am surprised though at the 3-2-1 recovery intervals staying consistent and not slowing down as the workout went along. I'll take it, even though the 200 splits and overall time (just under 25 minutes) are nothing to write home about:
37.9 - 86.6 - 38.4 - 57.4 - 38.5 - 29.2
38.8 - 81.9 - 38.7 - 54.0 - 38.7 - 29.4
38.3 - 80.6 - 38.3 - 56.8 - 38.1 - 30.0
38.3 - 79.0 - 38.8 - 55.5 - 39.2 - 29.7
39.3 - 80.1 - 38.9 - 56.1 - 39.1 - 29.7
last 400 a scintillating 78.1
Felt smooth, but I'm kidding myself calling this a leg prep session, the relatively short recoveries and continuous nature put paid to that. Conditions cool enough that I wore pants to warm up and cool down for the first time since April.
