Sun 10/11 - AM 75 minutes incl. 5k cross country

Mediocre at best effort on the Wayland rollercoaster course. The overwhelming fatigue coming home to roost, completely flat at the moment. In fact, ran a faster time than last year by a few ticks, but with a lot more company which perhaps accentuated just how unfit and unfocused my running is at the moment. Beaten by people who I have no business losing to which was quite frustrating but given the useless nature of much of my recent training and complete and utter inability to get a decent night's sleep it's no surprise. Warmup was scattered and sparse, as I was expecting since I had to do a lot of meet management related activities. Cooldown happened long after the race was done, but worth the wait as I was joined by the lovely SO for a rambling putter around the nooks and crannies of Greenways. Lots of stops but not really inclined to care.
