10/19/15

Wed 10/14 - PM 25 minutes easy

Supposedly going to do an actual workout today, at least according to the schedule I had set out for myself. However, the legs can't achieve what the mind can conceive and it quickly became clear that I wasn't going to be doing anything faster than a jog yet again. Balloon-headed, throbbing fatigue feeling which is just the worst.

Tue 10/13 - PM 65 minutes very easy

Area 51. Good company made up for feeling flat as a pancake. Very low energy right now, long days of coaching the past six weeks taking their inevitable toll.

Mon 10/12 - PM 80 minutes easy

Area 51 to White Pond, back via Summer. Relaxed putter in the refuge with the SO which made it all the better. Quite tired and flat from yesterday, left hip pinched likely from the sharp descents.

10/15/15

Sun 10/11 - AM 75 minutes incl. 5k cross country

Mediocre at best effort on the Wayland rollercoaster course. The overwhelming fatigue coming home to roost, completely flat at the moment. In fact, ran a faster time than last year by a few ticks, but with a lot more company which perhaps accentuated just how unfit and unfocused my running is at the moment. Beaten by people who I have no business losing to which was quite frustrating but given the useless nature of much of my recent training and complete and utter inability to get a decent night's sleep it's no surprise. Warmup was scattered and sparse, as I was expecting since I had to do a lot of meet management related activities. Cooldown happened long after the race was done, but worth the wait as I was joined by the lovely SO for a rambling putter around the nooks and crannies of Greenways. Lots of stops but not really inclined to care.

Sat 10/10 - AM 60 minutes very easy

Lincoln woods with the kiddies. Tired tired tired.

Fri 10/9 - PM 55 minutes very easy

Area 51. Dragging ass and very tired.

Thu 10/8 - 60 minutes easy

Area 51.
